The Master Painters Guarantee is a product that a home owner can obtain from their Registered Master Painter to protect themselves from or against defective workmanship and materials. The guarantee is backed by Master Painters Services Limited and endorsed by Dulux, Resene and Valspar. So in the event of the painter being unable or unwilling to perform Master Painters Services will, assuming the terms and conditions of the guarantee are met.

Do I automatically get a guarantee by using a Registered Master Painter? 

No, the guarantee is not automatic upon hiring a Registered Master Painter – you must complete the guarantee documentation with your builder and pay the required fee and ensure that both are sent through to Master Painters Services.

What projects am I able to get a guarantee for?

The guarantee is available for residential interior and exterior work and applies to both new work and re-work.
